I’ve had a personal website since 1998 and a weblog since 2003. When it came to version number 9, I wanted something bold, creative and colourful. Using every pixel of the available monitor space. I opted for a responsive Flash site (which has, unfortunately, become an abandoned technique since the emergence of mobile).
I also wanted each page to have it’s own look and feel, tailored to its specific content, which ranged from personal ideas to visual experiments.
Recognition started with a Dutch Bloggie award, followed by a Webby™ Official Honoree status. Which was impressive, because my little hobby project was up against the work of top digital agencies in the world.
